Summary:

We are looking for a B2B Marketing Executive to come and join our exciting and growing team based in Soho, London as our first marketing hire. This role will work side by side with the leadership team to develop a marketing strategy to deliver on and execution for Scale's marketing and measuring the outcomes.

Scale Digital is at a crucial point in its growth, looking to take its marketing efforts to the next level. As a brand and a company Scale have not actively marketed themselves so this role is a huge opportunity with a clean slate, a fantastic book of clients and a very enthusiastic team to support.

This role will increase the customer funnel through dedicated and considered marketing efforts, excellent execution, PR, digital market, events, and an increased cadence of digital, blog and website activity. The ideal candidate will understand how to marry sales and marketing so that all efforts are aligned with other teams and support their efforts. They will have excellent people skills, a naturally curious mind, focus on new technologies and platforms and enjoy reading and writing about performance marketing.

About you:

You are a proactive marketeer looking to learn and grow with the role and ultimately increase the inbound business. You are someone who can take the business forward by helping in two specific ways. The first is developing a long term strategy to consistently communicate our positioning with a focus on providing customer solutions. The second is collaborating with the new business team to provide tools and support aligned with sales initiatives to increase proactive and organic lead generation.


This role suits an individual who is comfortable creating and executing ideas with a degree of autonomy and someone collaborative and strategic who will align with other business units. You will play an integral role in developing our brand from the inside out and allow us to get the message out to the right people about who we are, what we value and what we do. You will use your skills, imagination and creativity to contribute to the growth of the business.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Build the ongoing roadmap of all marketing activities and communications and execute it over the course of the year, measuring its success and optimising the performance of all activities
  • Create a calendar of industry events and seek out speaking opportunities for the leadership team. Develop narratives that align with the company positioning and topical industry trends
  • Produce high quality written content for social media and other content mediums, with a keen eye for detail that speaks to the brand positioning
  • Deliver content to distribute across all O&O channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter as well as proactively keeping one eye on what other platforms we may need to have visibility on
  • Provide talking points for customers to help support the new business team in developing leads, working closely with them to understand which segments they are targeting then actively creating assets and tools to market
  • Produce strategic thought leadership and research insights for clients and client support, communicating key issues and challenges in the industry to generate new conversations and position the company as top of market
  • Create and maintain brand positioning aligned with a solutions first organisation
  • Analyse SEO/SEM and website performance
  • Craft regular case studies which clearly communicate the value proposition and distribute monthly
  • Support the account managers and sales team by creating and hosting events with current and prospective clients
  • Build blog posts through the Webflow CMS and improve and update website functionality as and when suitable
  • Select key high profile awards for entry and submission

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience working in B2B or digital marketing
  • A curious mind and a keen interest in digital marketing, business and the digital advertising landscape
  • CRM experience
  • Self starting and dynamic
  • Influencer or mobile marketing experience helpful but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and a willingness to get involved in different projects
  • Time management and organisation, you must feel competent in managing a few different projects at the same in different processes
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to speak French and or German would be hugely beneficial but a nice to have
